Happy Halloween!!

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!

Boo!

Door County Rocks!

I just returned from a fantastic trip to Door County with friends and figured I would share my joy! Even though it was only a two day weekend - it was great (and a well-needed change of pace). Check out my pictures here: http://bit.ly/4sf4bN I just got a Canon Rebel DSLR and put it to the test. I'm still learning how to use it, but many of the photos turned out fantastic, if I may say so my self! I also made a short little animoto video of the pics you can check out below! Disfruten!

Asshole [A Short Film]

As if you didn't know already, I love films. Even short ones. Here's a little gem that tickled me. But not the way Al Qaeda tickles... Watch the short film below to find out what I mean. [Be warned, this film contains vulgar language.]

NBC's Community

I've really been diggin NBC's Community A Lot. So much so, that I'm posting a blog about it... though I'm not all too sure who even reads this thing. Community is absolutely hilarious in a quirky and off-the-wall sort of way. Here's the Hulu description:

Disbarred lawyer Jeff Winger enrolls in a local community college. While there, he forms a study group who eventually learn more about themselves than their course work.
A simple premise that leaves a ton of room for laughs. The shows writing has been great so far and I really think you should check it out. Watch it on Hulu (like me) or catch it Thursdays at 8:30pm on NBC. Here's a clip of the end credits to episode 2 that had me rollin.

Review of Batman: Arkham Asylum

Batman: Arkham Asylum (15th Anniversary Edition) Batman: Arkham Asylum
by Grant Morrison

My rating: 3 of 5 stars
It's hard for me to say whether this is a good graphic novel or not. On one hand, the artwork was phenomenal and like nothing I've seen in any other graphic novel. I would "read" Arkham Asylum just for the artistry. At the same time, that's the only thing I found it had going for it. The story was really lacking depth. I did like how Grant Morrison combined Batman's present circumstances with the story of Amadeus Arkham, however, it just wasn't very meaty. It breezed through what I was really looking forward to reading about: Batman's encounters with his archenemies in the asylum. All in all, I enjoyed it, but it could have been so much more.
